We are pleased to be able to present you with a photo collection of our beautiful new MLA suite. Our library collection is broken into sensible sections by material type (law reports, periodicals, legislation and texts).  We also boast a spacious and secluded computer area so that our members can work on sensitive files without feeling that they are on a public traffic path.

Perhaps the best feature of this new space is the windows.  We have windows in both the library and the lounge area and plenty of interior glass partitions to allow for the light to filter into other areas.  It is a huge benefit also to have all the MLA space – library, locker rooms and lounge - in one area instead of spread over three floors.  Our members' lounge is now easily accessible and, as a result, is heavily used by our members.  The locker rooms are bright and functional and there are also large cloak cabinets for daily use.

For those of you who have been unable to visit the new suite, we are pleased to present these pictures taken in March 2007.  Simply click on a picture and it will download on your screen for better viewing.

The pictures above show the front reception desk, the legislation room, the main hall leading to the Dundas St. windows,
the photocopier area, the computer workstation room and one of the staff offices.

The pictures above show the legislation area looking toward the reception area, two views of the text collection,
the periodicals area and its lounge area and the law reports room at the back of the library.

The pictures above show the doors leading into the lounge and locker room areas from the main reception, plus two views
of the open lounge, the main lounge with windows looking out on Museum London and the kitchenette.
The locker rooms and cloak cabinets are just through the open lounge space.
