The Blue Book: An A-Z Guide to University of Toronto Experts
Produced by the U of T’s Department of Public Affairs, this site provides a listing of over 1100 experts at the University of Toronto, and is intended as a resource guide for journalists seeking expert opinions from U of T faculty and staff. Experts are listed by topics of interest and can be searched by keyword, name or by clicking on the subjects located on the left.  Although designed for use by members of the media, this is also a good source of experts for legal proceedings. http://www.library.utoronto.ca/bluebook

Try it at www.canadianlawlist.com.

L'Expert Directory

You can limit the search to specific practice areas such as biotechnology, franchising law and workers' compensation.  It is used by corporate
