Mock Trial Exercises with PWC LLP

This workshop is intended for litigators, junior or senior, who would like to practice their direct examination and cross examination skills on expert witnesses in a mock trial.

Practice your advocacy skills by preparing and conducting a direct and cross-examination of accounting experts.  The “judges”, two senior litigators Lisa Gunn and Bob Ledgley, will provide guidance and feedback to improve your technique!

This workshop is intended for litigators, junior or senior, who would like to practice their direct examination and cross examination skills on expert witnesses in a mock trial.

PWC LLP developed this mock trial exercise to assist lawyers in developing or improving their direct examination and cross-examination skills.  Lawyers will conduct a direct and cross-examination of an accountant expert.  Even though the case is a commercial litigation case, the experts walk you through the accounting issues with the main goal of improving your advocacy skills!

This program contains 1.5 Professionalism hours & 4.5 hours of Substantive content.

Please note that participants are required to do homework for both sessions including a review of the case study & preparing their examinations.
